Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Overview
This website, live.cardboardmagic.io (the "Site"), is operated by Cardboard Magic, Inc. ("Cardboard Magic"). Throughout the Site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Cardboard Magic. We offer the Site, including live breaks, the shop, razzes, games, jackpots, the advent calendar, auctions, chat, drawers and shipping (together, the "Service"), to you on the condition that you accept all of the terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting the Site and/or buying something from us, you use our Service and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"), including the policies they refer to: our Privacy Policy, Refund & Return Policy and Shipping Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the Site. If you do not agree to all of them, do not use the Site or the Service. New features added to the Site are also subject to these Terms. You can read the current version on this page at any time.
Break rules
- By buying a break, pack, box or spot, you agree to have us open your chosen sealed product on our live stream during our streaming times. Breaks are not paused or cancelled because you are not watching when your turn comes. Stream times can change; our Discord is the best place for updates.
- Breaks are opened in the order the purchases were paid for. You can follow your place on the public Queue page. We may move an order in the queue when needed to run the stream (for example, to keep a customer's orders together).
- You receive your "hits". For Pokémon and similar trading card games we do not keep basic energies, commons, uncommons, or reverse holo and holo commons and uncommons, unless you chose the "Keep bulk?" or "Keep reverses/holos?" option for that order. Those options cost extra and the price is shown before you pay.
- If you chose "Keep Booster Box Sealed", the box is not opened and goes to your drawer sealed.
- Sealed product is opened as it comes from the manufacturer. What any pack, box or spot contains is unknown until it is opened, and we make no promise about what you will pull or what it is worth.
Razzes, games, jackpots and the advent calendar
- Razzes. You buy one or more numbered spots. When every spot is sold, one winner is drawn on stream. Each spot is one entry. The draw uses the method published on the razz page, and its record (including the inputs used) is shown on that draw's fairness page. A razz that does not fill stays open until it fills or we cancel it. If we cancel it, every buyer is refunded as described in our Refund & Return Policy.
- Minis. A mini razz is a smaller razz for one or more open spots of another razz. Its winner takes those spots in the original razz.
- Games (such as bingo, chest games and tic-tac-toe) follow the rules shown on each game's page, which form part of these Terms for that game. Prizes and payouts are paid as described there; cash prizes on the Site are paid as store credit.
- Jackpots. Where a jackpot applies to a product, the per-pack contribution is a separate line in your cart and checkout. A jackpot is won as described on its page and paid as store credit. We may close a jackpot at any time.
- Advent calendar. Each door is sold as shown on the calendar page. Only sold doors are opened, and the door's prize goes to its buyer.
- Results are final once a draw, door or game outcome has been made on stream. We do not re-run a completed draw.
Auctions
A bid is a binding offer to buy the item at the amount you bid. The highest valid bid when the clock runs out wins, and the winner must pay for the item. Late bids extend the clock as shown on the auction page. You need a card saved on your account to bid. We may cancel an auction, in which case all of its bids are void. Bids placed by mistake can only be cancelled at our discretion.
Store credit
Store credit is a balance on your account that can be spent on the Site. It comes from refunds, prizes, jackpots and buybacks. It has no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and is not redeemable for cash except where the law requires. You need a full, verified account to spend it. Store credit is paused while a payment dispute on your account is open (see Payments and chargebacks).
Refund policy
All sales are final. Our team will review requests for a return authorization case by case. The full rules, including when we refund and how, are in our Refund & Return Policy.
Shipping policy
Shipping is sold separately. Once shipping is paid, orders are shipped within 1 to 2 business days. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Delivery times are estimates only. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
Storage policy (drawers)
We offer temporary storage, called your drawer, so you can make several purchases over time and combine shipping later. Drawers are a voluntary convenience and are not meant for long-term storage. We require shipping for any drawer that has been inactive for 30 days. We will send a courtesy email when your drawer reaches 30 days of inactivity, and reminder emails if shipping has still not been bought. If shipping for a drawer is not paid within 6 months of its last activity, the drawer will be treated as abandoned. Abandoned drawers are closed and their contents become the property of Cardboard Magic, Inc..
Section 1: Eligibility and online store terms
By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and at least the age of majority in the state, province or country where you live. The Site is not for minors, and you may not let a minor use your account or buy through the Site. You also confirm that taking part in breaks, razzes, games and the other products on the Site is lawful where you live; any offer on the Site is void where prohibited.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you, in using the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including copyright laws). You must not transmit any worms, viruses or code of a destructive nature. A breach of any of these Terms will result in immediate termination of your Services.
Section 2: General conditions and accounts
We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone for any reason at any time. You may check out as a guest with a username and email; spending store credit, buying shipping and seeing your drawer need a full account. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Usernames are shown on stream, so they must not impersonate anyone or be offensive; we may change or remove them.
Card details are entered into our payment processor's secure form and are always encrypted in transit. Other content you send may pass over various networks. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any part of the Service without our express written permission. The headings in these Terms are for convenience only and do not limit or affect them.
Section 3: Accuracy, completeness and timeliness of information
We are not responsible if information on the Site is not accurate, complete or current. Material on the Site is for general information only and should not be relied on as the sole basis for making decisions. Card values, market prices and similar figures shown on the Site are reference information only and are not a promise of what any card is worth or will be worth. We may change the Site's content at any time but have no obligation to update it.
Section 4: Modifications to the Service and prices
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. Prices are in US dollars and are worked out by us at checkout. We may modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any change in price, or for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
Section 5: Products or services
Some products are available only online through the Site, may be limited in quantity, and can be returned or exchanged only under our Refund & Return Policy. We have tried to show the colors and images of our products as accurately as possible but cannot guarantee your screen's display. We may limit sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction, and may limit quantities. Product descriptions and prices may change at any time without notice. We may discontinue any product at any time. We do not warrant that the quality of any product or Service will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
Section 6: Billing, payments and chargebacks
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card is charged when you check out. We may refuse or cancel any order, and may limit or cancel quantities bought per person, per household or per order, including orders under the same account, card, or billing or shipping address. If we change or cancel an order, we will try to tell you using the email you gave us, and any payment for a cancelled order is refunded. We may limit or refuse orders that, in our judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors, or that look fraudulent.
You agree to give current, complete and accurate purchase and account information, and to keep it up to date so we can complete your purchases and contact you.
If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first at support@cardboardmagic.io. If you file a chargeback or payment dispute, your account is placed on hold while it is open: store credit cannot be spent and shipping cannot be bought. We respond to disputes with our records (your order, the stream and your drawer and shipping history). If a dispute is closed in our favor the hold is lifted; otherwise we may keep the hold or close the account.
Section 7: Optional tools
We may give you access to third-party tools that we do not monitor or control. You agree that we provide them "as is" and "as available", without any warranties or endorsement, and that your use of them is entirely at your own risk. New features or tools added to the Site are also subject to these Terms.
Section 8: Third-party links and services
Some content, products and services on the Site come from third parties, including the stream video (Twitch), payments (Stripe) and shipping labels and carriers (through Shippo). Third-party links may take you to websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for third-party materials or websites, and are not liable for any harm related to them. Please review a third party's policies before using it.
Section 9: Chat, comments and the live stream
The stream is public. By taking part you agree that your username, your chat messages and the cards pulled for you may be shown on the stream, on Twitch and on the Site. If you send us comments, ideas or other material, we may use them in any medium without obligation to keep them confidential, to pay you or to respond. Do not post spam, links, harassment, hate speech or unlawful, abusive or obscene content, and do not pretend to be someone else. We may hide messages and suspend chat or accounts. You are solely responsible for the messages you post.
Section 10: Personal information
Your personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.
Section 11: Errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Information on the Site may sometimes contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times and availability. We may correct them, change information, or cancel orders if information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice, including after you have submitted your order. Any payment for an order we cancel is refunded.
Section 12: Prohibited uses
In addition to the other prohibitions in these Terms, you may not use the Site or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to ask others to take part in unlawful acts; (c) to violate any regulations, rules or laws; (d) to infringe our intellectual property or anyone else's; (e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, intimidate or discriminate; (f) to submit false or misleading information; (g) to upload or send malicious code; (h) to collect or track other people's personal information; (i) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl or scrape; (j) for any obscene or immoral purpose; (k) to interfere with or get around the Site's security; or (l) to use bots, scripts or multiple accounts to gain an advantage, or to exploit an error in the Site. We may void affected purchases, bids or wins and end your use of the Service for any prohibited use.
Section 13: Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability
We do not guarantee that your use of the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Live streams can drop or lag; if a break is interrupted, we will make reasonable efforts to finish it when the stream is back. You agree that we may remove the Service for indefinite periods or cancel it at any time without notice, and that your use of, or inability to use, the Service is at your sole risk. The Service and all products delivered through it are (except as we expressly state) provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title and non-infringement.
In no case shall Cardboard Magic, Inc., our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data or replacement costs, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of the Service or any product bought through it, even if advised of their possibility. Where a state or jurisdiction does not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Section 14: Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Cardboard Magic, Inc. and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms or the documents they incorporate, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Section 15: Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, it will still be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable part will be treated as severed. That does not affect the validity and enforceability of the other provisions.
Section 16: Termination
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred before termination survive termination. These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by you or us. You may end them at any time by telling us you no longer wish to use the Service, or by stopping using the Site. If, in our sole judgment, you fail (or we suspect you have failed) to comply with these Terms, we may end this agreement at any time without notice; you remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination, and we may deny you access to the Service or any part of it.
Section 17: Entire agreement
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of it. These Terms and any policies or operating rules we post on the Site (including game rules) are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service, and replace any earlier agreements, communications and proposals, oral or written, including earlier versions of these Terms. Any ambiguity in these Terms will not be construed against the drafting party.
Section 18: Governing law
These Terms and any separate agreements under which we provide you Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States.
Section 19: Changes to these Terms
You can read the current version of these Terms at any time on this page. We may update, change or replace any part of them by posting the changes here, and the date at the top shows the latest version. Please check this page from time to time. Your continued use of the Site or the Service after changes are posted means you accept them.
Section 20: Trademarks and contact information
Trading card names and images belong to their owners. Pokémon is a registered trademark of Pokémon/Nintendo. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the card publishers. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@cardboardmagic.io or to the address below.
